Alexander is a passionately collected so much variety of Soviet vintage items at his small shop where my friends and I can find interesting things to take home either for decor and art classes. A hidden treasure for boutique hotels and guest houses in terms of decor and for numismatists in terms of their collections.
Surprisingly small shop, but absolutely crammed with Russian/Soviet vintage items with truly something for everyone. It's kitty corner from the History Museum so a great stop after you visit the history museum and learn a bit of the history of Kyrgyzstan and Karakol. Prices are very reasonable for things you simply can't find anywhere else. I always stop when I'm there (I visit 2 - 3 times a year for work) and I always find some little treasures.
